Zuzana Psotková: FOOTPRINT & other works

FOOTPRINT

The footprints we leave behind us are the invisible traces of our actions, thoughts, and decisions. We can consciously return to them, analyze them or not take them into account at all.

Regardless of our decision – the traces remain.

The village, the work, the power, the cigar, the woman, her, me, us, together, even against each other, but always for us – women.

GALLERY OF HELP

We have the opportunity to experience 66 Hours that will not be repeated. We will enjoy them with people we know and people we don’t know, we will enjoy them alone and by ourselves, but always together. Together we are part of everything that happens during these 66 Hours and the roles are only seemingly and fluidly divided between us. What the 67 Hours will be is in the hands of all of us.

The Transnational Artistic Showcase “Reimagining Realities” is an interdisciplinary collaboration residency that unites artists from in Slovakia and Ukraine and seeks to delve into complex themes such as wartime experiences, climate change, digital tools in conflict, resistance, and the profound impact of propaganda on memory and societal mindset.

The Reimagining Realities project is implemented by Tabačka Kulturfabrik n.o. with the support of the IZOLYATSIA foundation, Trans Europe Halles and Malý Berlín and co-financed by the ZMINA: Rebuilding program, created with the support of the European Union under a dedicated call for proposals to support Ukrainian displaced people and the Ukrainian Cultural and Creative Sectors.
