Caring and nurturing is what we wouldn’t be here without. They are essential activities, their importance is not questioned, and yet they do not receive enough attention from us. Until things stop working… The first broken and unrepaired window on a building is the beginning of its decay. Lack of care and nurturing is the beginning of decay, of buildings, of relationships, of us. We invite you to celebrate the act of caring. Will it be “just” fixing a broken window, or will it be much more?

The performance will take place on Thursday, July 18 at 19:00 outside the factory building.

The Transnational Artistic Showcase “Reimagining Realities” is an interdisciplinary collaboration residency that unites artists from in Slovakia and Ukraine and seeks to delve into complex themes such as wartime experiences, climate change, digital tools in conflict, resistance, and the profound impact of propaganda on memory and societal mindset. The Reimagining Realities project is implemented by Tabačka Kulturfabrik n.o. with the support of the IZOLYATSIA foundation, Trans Europe Halles and Malý Berlín and co-financed by the ZMINA: Rebuilding program, created with the support of the European Union under a dedicated call for proposals to support Ukrainian displaced people and the Ukrainian Cultural and Creative Sectors.
