EXHIBITION: Andrej Kiss: Space and time

Výstava

The installation, located in the historic space of the Old Tobacco Factory, presents industrial Pragotron clocks and common wall clocks from households. The aim of this exhibition, which is part of the 66 Hours Festival, is to introduce visitors to the multifaceted timekeeping systems and their significance in different environments. This installation highlights the diversity in the perception of time depending on the setting. While industrial clocks emphasize efficiency and precision, household clocks are more about personal experience and the rhythm of everyday life. Together, both types of clocks create a contrasting view of time, which is omnipresent but whose significance can dramatically differ depending on the context.

Come discover something new from the world of clocks, how time shapes our lives in various ways in a historical and cultural context, and why the festival in Smolník is named 66 Hours.
