Taemarina is a hyperpop producer and performer. He released his first instrumental EP featuring unconventional experimentation with sounds, Ultramarina, in 2020. Shortly after, his work expanded and he released several more albums and singles with a prominent use of auto-tune and effects, creating a futuristic-synthetic feel and reflection on rapidly changing times.In his lyrics, he tackles themes of breaking down societal norms, self-discovery, and love, which he often describes in an abstract form of surrealistic fantasizing. He also draws inspiration from the pop culture era of the 20th century, as seen in his remake of Marika Gombitova’s “Dress”. His work is a fusion of multiple genres with elements of gabber that cross over into rave.
